Deal Between CVC Group And Torrent Group As GT Owner
Their deal was officially announced on February 12, 2025, and completed in March 2025 after receiving all the necessary approvals from the Board of Control of Cricket in India(BCCI). While the exact financial terms of the deal were not publicly disclosed but with this deal, the estimated valuation of Gujarat was increased after the Torrent Group purchased this deal. As part of the transaction, BCCI received ₹251 crore, equivalent to 5% of the deal value.
