Ravindrasinh Anirudhshsinh Jadeja is one of India’s most successful all-rounders. He has broken records after records in the field of cricket. Jadeja is a left-handed batsman and an orthodox left-handed spin bowler. He is also one of the finest fielders in the world of cricket. He has consecutively been crowned as the No.1 ICC Test all-rounder since 2022.

Ravindra Jadeja made his domestic debut in 2005 in U-19. He was then part of the Indian team for the 2006 U-19 Cricket World Cup. India reached the finals but couldn’t get the job done. He made his 1st international appearance through the 50 over format. He made his Odi debut against Sri Lanka in Colombo on 8th February, 2009. Jaddu couldn’t show his magic with the ball as he didn’t get any wickets. But Jadeja went unbeaten with the bat and scored 60 runs in 77 balls. Today, he is the 7th highest wicket taker for India in ODI with 220 wickets to his name. In 2013 he was ranked no.1 bowler in ODIs. 

T20I

Jadeja next made his debut in twenty-twenty cricket on 10th February, 2009. He played against Sri Lanka in Colombo. He bowled all his 4 overs conceding only 26 runs. As for batting, he scored an unbeaten 25 off 13 balls. He has scored 515 runs and taken 54 wickets throughout his T20I career.

Jadeja made his test debut against England at Nagpur on 13th December, 2012. He scored a total of 21 runs in 2 innings. He took 3 wickets in the 1st inning while conceding only 117 runs. In the 2nd inning, he took 1 wicket. The match ended in a draw. He is deemed as one of the best players in Test cricket. He has played 80 matches, scoring over 3000 runs and picking more than 300 wickets. In 2022, he was ranked as the no.1 Test all-rounder and still holds the same ranking even in 2025.
