Shortly after this, in a match against Mumbai Indians, Digvesh again performed the notebook celebration after dismissing Naman Dhir. This time, the BCCI imposed a harsher penalty, fining him 50% of his match fees and charging him with two demerit points, raising his total to three points. This put him on the verge of a suspension.
