Domestic Career
Rajat Patidar played his first-class debut on 30 October 2015 in the Ranji Trophy. He then made his twenty 20 debuts for Madhya Pradesh in the year 2017-2018 in the Zonal T20 League on January 8, 2018. In the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy, he scored 713 runs in eight games for Madhya Pradesh, making him the top run-scorer. He was selected to play for the India Blue team in the 2019-20 Duleep Trophy.
In the IPL auction before the 2021 Indian Premier League, Patidar was purchased by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Royal Challengers Bengaluru). However, he only scored 71 runs in four matches and was let go before the 2022 IPL season. Patidar remained without a buyer in the 2022 IPL Player Auction.
